Downloading ReShade
ReShade is a free, open-source tool that allows you to customize how your game looks. It sits between the game and your screen and adds visual effects without changing any of the game's files. Working with major graphics systems that games rely on (Direct3D, OpenGL, and Vulkan), it is able to apply effects on top of just about any game that you can think of. However, since the tool can be so powerful in its user customizability, ReShade has branched out into two different versions that you can find for download on ReShade's download page.
Standard ReShade Build (Download ReShade X.X.X)
The Standard build of ReShade doesn't support any add-ons outside of the included "Generic Depth", and it limits this when ReShade can detect any internet traffic from the game in order to prevent cheating in multiplayer titles. This is the version to get for online or multiplayer games, and for any game whose anti-cheat blocks the usual graphics injections or mods.
Full Add-On Support ReShade Build (Download ReShade X.X.X with full add-on support)
The Full Add-On Support build lets you use any add-on that you desire, as well as keeps all of its features limitation free, meaning that you can have access to the depth buffer under any circumstance. It's meant for single-player games, as most anti-cheat systems will flag it, so it is best to avoid using in multiplayer or competitive titles.
